Personal digital communication must be put on the map, which is why over 500 digital marketing professionals from various industries gathered at DeFabrique for the fourth year in a row at GX Connect. The theme could be sensed even as they arrived and came face to face with a bunch of extraordinary portraits!
The 14th edition of GX Connect was all about ‘make digital personal’, and that vibe could be felt in every warehouse. The visitors were able to submit pictures of themselves beforehand, which led to 96 guests being surprised when they came face to face with life-sized pictures of themselves! Six pillars bearing portraits dominated the space, so the day’s networking took place under the watchful eye of fellow visitors.
GX Connect has been around for nearly 15 years now. In the beginning, we would look for a new venue each year, to continue to top the previous year's event, but we have been with DeFabrique for 4 years in a row now! Thanks in part to DeFabrique, we have been able to really put our event on the map.
In accordance with the theme, ‘personalise and innovate’, 17 guest speakers from all over shared their experiences related to this concept. The presentations were divided up into three different kinds; knowledge sessions, inspiration sessions, and practical sessions. This enabled guests to mark out their own programme and head home at the end of the day filled to the brim with new ideas.
