Accenture trusts in innovation. It is a key to success and an essential part of a better future. Accenture has the mission to stimulate innovation all year long and this resulted in the annual Accenture Innovation Summit. Innovators, startups and investors are challenged to present their ideas and innovations at the Innovation Playground. The goal? Winning an Accenture Innovation Award of course! Each year a fierceless competition ignites in eight different categories: climate, education, finance, health, lifestyle and work, mobility, nutrition and safety. With the Innovation Playground as the centre of the event, the whole day is about innovation. Not even a square meter is left unused. Inspiration could be found in different domes, pitch arenas, round table sessions, breakfast sessions, workshops and many more. Even the youngest innovators got an opportunity to pitch their ideas during the Junior Innovation Challenge. Innovation starts now!
Accenture knows an event doesn’t start when you arrive at the venue. An event starts as soon as you get off the train. The company stimulates its employees to come with public transport. Today was no exception. To cover the last few meters from Maarssen to DeFabrique, guests could test innovations which were to be presented in the ‘Mobility’ theme. Electrical bikes, cars and steps helped the guests on their way towards an spectaculair opening of the event. Sustainable and a lot of fun!
Accenture and DeFabrique are two of a kind. DeFabrique was not just an event venue, but acted like a true partner in organizing and co-creating the Accenture Innovation Awards. Together we made sure it was possible to present the best The Netherlands has to offer in innovation in just one day!
Innovations needs inspiration, a fresh perspective. Who has this without even thinking? Exactly! Children. The youngest innovators are the future so during the Junior Innovation Challenge they can show their creativity by solving different cases. Out of all submissions, only ten ideas get chosen to present their ideas during the Accenture Innovation Summit. The winner doesn’t just win a cup, but also gets a chance to see what it means to bring an idea to life.
