IT innovation paradise

The international Dell EMC Forum is organised in several countries using the same format, and of course, the Netherlands had to feature on the road show’s travel schedule as well. DeFabrique was turned into a true innovation paradise for Dell EMC’s Dutch clients and partners; every detail of the event was planned out in close collaboration with Ten&One. A number of ‘Transformation Areas’ allowed the visitors to discover the latest IT innovations. This day was a feast for the eyes and ears to be sure, but there was plenty to delight people’s taste buds as well.

ABOUT DELL EMC

Dell EMC aids the other companies within Dell Technologies - including Dell, Pivotal, RSA, SecureWorks, Virtustream and VMware - in helping clients transform their IT, staff, security, and operations. In doing so, they increase accessibility of technology so that every individual and every organisation is able to profit from it. In short, Dell EMC makes leading innovations available worldwide and supplies a unique combination of innovation, value, and results.

A delicious welcome

The event was off to a delicious start; 150 VIPs were pampered with a three-course lunch. The clients sat down together at Calf’s Milk 1, and the partners were received at the Hessian Basement. Before the clients were served their first course, Prince Constantijn arrived to speak as ambassador of Startup Delta, providing interesting conversational material for networking. The partners’ lunch was exceptionally festive, as Dell EMC took the opportunity to present a number of awards, including best service partner and best brand ambassador.

What with the motto of 'connect, share and realize your innovation', we felt that DeFabrique was the perfect venue for the Dell EMC Forum.

A visual spectacle

At the end of the day, the 900 visitors were treated to a visual, musical celebration. The tone of the plenary session was set by two LED dancers; using their suits and fans, they put on a colourful show to the beats provided by four percussionists. If any of the guests thought that the presentations marked the end of the event, they were soon proved wrong; the four musicians guided the visitors along to the subsequent drinks event.
